If you are about to buy a membership of this gym beware of it.
The gym itself is poor with very little machines , the gym space is rough and everything in that gym is just old.
The swimming pool area is pretty much a nightmare. Small pool always packed with people, sauna and steam room never works properly and when it works is dirty and full of people shouting and screaming just like they were enjoying themselves in a pub.even tho there s a sign there asking people to be quiet. I brought the subject up with management but I have been laughed at as the manager herself is a chav with no manners whatsoever.
THE POOL IS VERY DIRTY. FULL OF HAIR AND STUFF. YUK. MY COLLEAGUE GOT A FUNGUS IN HER sKIN IN THAT POOL AND SHE S TRYING TO HEAL IT FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS. SHE GOT IT STRAIGHT AFTER USING SUNSTONE POOL.
If you forget any of your personal belongings there, forget about it. Staff will steal it from you within minutes. If you need a towel you have to pay for it.
What shocks me is the fact I have talked with members of sunstone and they all hate it, the thing is they make you sign a contract of 12 months and they invite you for a tour in the gym in a day when is very clean and the tour is actually SHIT. they go through it very briefly with you, and they rush for you to sign the stupid contract. So the members in general all have the same complain they hate it but they cant leave because of the contract.
ANother thing I notice at sunstone, everyone is really fat . even members of staff. I m skinny and I go to the gym just for health reasons. I see there the same people for about a year and they did not shed a pound. sunstone management also tricks people out into selling herbalife for loosing weight, everyone knows herbalife is scam. sunstone is scam. I took my time to write this blog so people beware and DO NOT SIGN FOR A MEMBERSHIP THERE.
It s only headache and disappointment.
